Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her numerous roles in FX's horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021), are what make her a household name. As Portia in the Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits(2017). Vice (2018). Fractured 2019 and The Tender Bar 2021. Rabe is also seen on television in The Whispers (2015) and The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021) as well as The First Lady (2022). Rabe's screen debut was in 2001 alongside Jill Clayburgh, her mother. In Massachusetts she also had her first stage appearance at the Gloucester Stage Company. Two one-act plays by Israel Horovitz, Speaking Well of the Dead, and The Crazy Girl, by Frank Pugliese, were her roles that resulted in her being awarded an Equity Card. In 2003, she was back with the Gloucester Stage Company to star in Proof by David Auburn. She was also in Mona Lisa Smile that year. After graduating, she moved back home to New York. She was in White Jesus, a one-act play by Deirdre Owen that was presented by the Naked Angels Theater Company from September 29 until October 2, 2004.
