Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She served this role from 2021-2022. As a member in the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications director(2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki contributed to CNN's political coverage from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then became the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's presidential campaign. From 2005 until the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012 as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013. It was believed that Psaki would be replacing Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21However, Josh Earnest was announced to succeed Carney on May 30, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 to be the director of communications. She was a part of the Obama administration until its conclusion.
