Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress, comedian, and writer. O'Hara is the proud winner of several distinctions, including the Genie Award. In 2018, O'Hara was appointed an Officer of Canada. In the year 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara was first recognized as an actress in 1974, as a member of The Second City in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also in her main cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd first began working in Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara received praise for her comic acting and writing abilities and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for a Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara was named to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert. Also included were Dwayne Colbert (Steve Carell), Tina Fey and Keegan-Michael Key as well as Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows. Suzy Nakamura. Sam Richardson. Jeff Richmond. Jason Sudeikis.
