Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie (born on November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was a former politician, as well a television host on MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would leave the show in May 2021 and launch Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her increased enthusiasm for politics to having an expectant mother in 2008's primaries. Also, she watched the US elections during her time in Jordan. She was able observe how the outcome affected people in the country, and thus became aware of the impact that US politics has on people around the world. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She established the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
